Some Frequently Asked Questions
In short, because a travel agent will help you get the biggest bang for your travel buck. As a travel agent I will offer you destination expertise, discounted hotel rates and airfares, all-in-one package deals, and exclusive specials and promotions. I can bundle air and hotel, as well as offer very low deposits on most trips. I will also price-match if another website has your trip for less. I’ll work with your budget and offer you as many options as you’d like. Rather than paying more for your vacation, you are likely to pay less and get more. I will be YOUR advocate and put your interests first.
Absolutely not. I receive a small commission from the destinations you are visiting – just like using a real estate agent to buy a house or booking a hotel through Expedia. A real estate agent is usually paid through the seller, and Expedia is paid through the destination, hotel, or resort you book through them – we are paid in the same way. I truly enjoy helping families plan the perfect vacation and I choose not to charge anything to the clients for my services.
I will be there for you before, during, and after your trip. That peace of mind comes at no extra charge. And, I love to hear everything about your trip once you’re back home. Feel free to share photos, videos, and stories – I love hearing from my clients!
I will help you choose the perfect destination for your big day. I can book flights, transportation to and from the airport, and group room deals. I will also put you in touch with the destination’s wedding coordinator who can help you with all the wedding details.
I am lucky enough to have been to most of the destinations I work with and can offer lots of advice on how to best spend your leisure time and money. If I haven’t been to a particular destination, I will have firsthand knowledge from a colleague or former client to help you make the best decisions about your trip.
I get this question A LOT. I’m a beach guy and would never turn down a day on white sands and crystal-clear blue water anywhere in the world. But, if I had to nail down my favorites, here they are as of today:
- Favorite all-inclusive resort: Beaches Turks and Caicos
- Second favorite all-inclusive resorts (all tied): Sandals Royal Bahamian, Sandals Grande St. Lucian and Sandals Emerald Bay in Exuma.
- Best vacation: Without a doubt my wife’s and my 20th wedding anniversary trip to Moorea, Tahiti, and Bora Bora where we stayed in the over-the-water bungalows.
- All-inclusive resorts for couples: Sandals Grenada.
